Challenge
A running steel melt shop expansion: 42 m tall bay columns and 32 T crane girders erected within metres of live EOT crane operations, with steel deliveries constrained to night windows.
Approach
We shop-assembled columns in two-piece splices to cut height work by 40%, match-marked every assembly, and sequenced erection bay-by-bay against the client's production calendar. Every lift over 20 T ran on an engineered lift plan signed off 72 hours ahead.
Result
12,400 MT erected in 18 months, dimensional survey within ±3 mm on crane rails over a 180 m run, zero lost-time incidents across 1.1 million man-hours.
