Captive Power Plant — BTG Structures

JSW Energy [PLACEHOLDER]

Challenge

Monsoon-season deep foundations for the turbine block — 9 m below grade with live dewatering — while boiler structure fabrication had to start in parallel to hold the BTG erection window.

Approach

Split the works into a foundations taskforce and a parallel fabrication stream at our Hyderabad shop. Turbine deck cast in a single 1,100 m³ continuous pour with thermocouple-monitored mass concrete protocol.

Result

Boiler supporting structure topped out 3 weeks ahead of the L2 schedule; turbine deck handed over with deflection survey inside OEM tolerance on first submission.
